Our Mission
At Bourbon Lane Stable, our mission is simple: to offer professionally managed partnerships that afford all investors a genuine chance at owning elite racehorses. We personally invest alongside our partners, ensuring a shared commitment to success. Our ultimate goal is to guide each partner towards individual ownership, enriching the racing community as a whole.
We offer two annual partnerships: a yearling partnership and a two-year-old partnership, along with Bourbon Lane New Zealand partnerships for those interested in international racing. Managed by McMahon & Hill Bloodstock, we pride ourselves on professionalism, fairness, and a commitment to broadening the horizons of our partners in the sport we love.
The Rule of Three
Every Bourbon Lane Stable partnership begins with a minimum of three horses in each LLC. This principle acknowledges the unpredictable nature of horse racing, where injuries or setbacks can impact a horse's career. With the rule of three, we aim for excellence, recognizing that from three horses, one may excel, one may perform adequately, and one may fall short. Our commitment to diversified portfolios mitigates risk and enhances the potential for success.
Proactive Management
We initiate our partnerships with a carefully planned expense budget for each horse. While success may yield returns before reserves are depleted, we prepare for potential cash calls if needed. Our strategy emphasizes responsible management, ensuring partners are not burdened with unnecessary financial obligations. We prioritize the welfare of both our partners and our equine athletes, making informed decisions to safeguard the integrity of our partnerships.

Pinhook Bourbon
Kentucky is known for two things, thoroughbred racehorses and fine bourbon. Through a unique partnership with Pinhook Bourbon, we are able to showcase our Bourbon Lane Stable racehorses on the labels of bottles of Pinhook Bourbon and Pinhook Rye. Each year Pinhook releases a one of a kind bourbon and rye to highlight the blending and aging process resulting in a unique flavor profile. Each release carries one of Bourbon Lane's runners on the label. This process which started in 2014 has resulted over time in a highly collectible stable of exquisite bottles—if the collector can resist drinking the contents.
